Powerful image of motherhood by photographer Balaji Maheshwar: “She was just 4 days old when I took this. Her parents live homeless in a road side settlement in Chennai, India. I felt a strong emotion and love in the way she was gripped by her mother close to the body. It was like a Homeless mom’s message to her child - “Never Give Up”
“A mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path.” ~Agatha Christie
For the third year in a row, the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce invited me to produce a short video of all the finalists for the 2010 AXA Advisors “Businesswomen of the Year Awards” which was held on Friday, March 12th at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables.
“The video vignettes give every finalist great exposure and sets our annual awards program apart from the rest” said Mark A. Trowbridge, President & CEO of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. “With the short turn-around time Dan has to complete all the videos for the luncheon, he does an amazing job and truly captures the essence of our awards."
Here is finalist Elena Linares - who went from Battered Women's Shelter to owner of RazzleDazzle Barbershop in Coral Gables: razzledazzlebarbershop.comSubscribe in a reader and never miss a new post. You won't be sorry...promise.
