High definition wireless video technology, provided by Cisco Systems, enabled young patients at Miami Children's Hospital to enjoy a virtual visit from Santa Claus.

Santa, viewed by the patients on a flatscreen monitor atop a rolling cart fitted with a HD camera and wireless networking technology, made virtual visits to several children's rooms, many of them cancer patients. Volunteers (dressed as elves) from the Miami Children's Hospital Family Advisory Council also helped deliver toys to the children.
