The Broward County Cultural Division enhances the community’s cultural environment through the development of the arts. They do this through grants, calls-to-artists for public art projects, marketing assistance and workshops.
Earlier this month, they were honored by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance with the Economic Development Partner of the Year award for their work in promoting the arts in South Florida. And as I’ve done for the past four years, I produced an honoree video for the Alliance’s Mid-Year Meeting that highlights this vital community organization.
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance is the primary economic development organization for Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County. They focus on creating, attracting, expanding and retaining high-wage jobs and capital investment in high value targeted industries, developing more vibrant communities, and improving the quality of life for the citizens of South Florida.
