Classic Movie Poster REDUX: Ridley Scott’s “Alien” [1979]

This week’s movie poster is a redesign of Ridley Scott’s classic sci-fi thriller, “Alien” by UK illustrator Godmachine. Directors Walter Hill, Peter Yates, Jack Clayton, and Robert Aldrich were all considered for the job before an offer was made to Ridley Scott on the strength of his debut feature “The Duellists“. The film went on to win the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
