Very excited to announce that my award-winning short documentary film, GRAFSTRACT: The Bronx Street Art Renaissance, has been named an official selection at the 12th edition of the Human Rights Film Festival of Barcelona (Festival de Cine y Derechos Humanos de Barcelona) which will run from November 26 – December 10 in Barcelona, Spain.

The festival, with headquarters in Barcelona and offices in Paris and New York, is the most important film festival on human rights in Catalonia and one of Spain’s most important and widely internationally established festivals. Moreover, the Human Rights Film Festival of Barcelona has been named two consecutive years by the ICCAR UNESCO as a good practice in human rights in the fight against various forms of discrimination and racism.

El festival ha sido nombrado dos años consecutivos por el ICCAR de la UNESCO como un referente de buenas prácticas en Derechos Humanos en la lucha contra las diversas formas de discriminación y racismo entregado a la ciudad de Barcelona por la celebración del Festival de cine.}
The film will be making it’s Spain premiere at the Human Rights Film Festival of Barcelona and we couldn’t be happier that “GRAFSTRACT” will be seen alongside other films that disseminate and debate the different realities in human rights issues around the world.
