With football season upon us, I couldn’t help but think of the number seven (touchdown + extra point) so I’ve gathered three alternative posters for David Fincher‘s moody crime thriller from 1995, “Seven“. Director Fincher, who stated, “I thought I’d rather die of colon cancer than do another movie” after the frustrations of filming “Alien 3“, agreed to helm the film after being sent the “wrong” script from New Line Cinema. They accidentally sent him the original script which included the now famous head-in-the-box ending – an ending New Line had changed to a more traditional detective thriller ending. Fincher and Brad Pitt fought for the original ending and eventually won out.
