United HomeCare® is a nonprofit home health and community care organization that has served South Florida since 1974. They began as a division of the United Way, with a mission to help families care for their elderly and disabled relatives at home. Today, United HomeCare® ranks as the largest home health agency in South Florida with more than 800 employees and volunteers providing more than 17,000 hours of compassionate care each week to nearly 5,000 clients across Miami-Dade County.
Building on their 40+ year track record as a leading provider of innovative, personalized, care-center attention, United HomeCare introduced The Residences of United HomeCare in 2015, a beautiful four-story, LEED®-certified, state-of-the-art senior living community with upscale amenities such as a wellness and fitness center, restaurant-style dining and café and Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the building. The Residences of United HomeCare® is located adjacent to West Kendall Baptist Hospital at 9355 SW 158th Avenue in Miami-Dade County.
It’s been my pleasure to work with and really get to know the good folks at United HomeCare® and I can tell you that they really have a heart for seniors. Here’s a video (produced by “yours truly”) that clearly illustrates what United HomeCare® is all about. For more information, visit their website at www.unitedhomecare.com.
