I’ve been working with the good folks at Goodwill South Florida for a few years now and I can tell you that the more I’ve learned about what they do, the more impressed I am with this nationally recognized non-profit organization.
There’s so much more going on there than just clothing donations – just check out the 2024 annual report video I produced to see what I mean. All the good work they do in the community culminated with their signature event of the year – Rhythm & Threads, a dynamic celebration of creativity, talent, and purpose.

Held at the New World Center in Miami on September 28, Rhythm & Threads unites the best of live music and high fashion in a mission-driven experience like no other, starting with the acclaimed Spirit of Goodwill Band, a dynamic ensemble of musicians with disabilities whose passion and talent have inspired audiences across the region.
Designer Giannina Azar
And lighting up the runway was internationally renowned designer Giannina Azar, whose bold, glamorous creations have dressed icons like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Gwen Stefani. Rhythm & Threads was more than just a show, it was a statement of what’s possible when we lift each other up.
I was happy to be there with camera in hand (assisted by talented videographer Ana Rosales) to produce a video that helps illustrate what makes this yearly fundraiser so special. Enjoy…
